Paying Recipients
With Levro, you can easily pay saved (or new) recipients in 34 different currencies. Using the Pay feature, you can exchange currency and make a payment all at once. Before you begin, make sure you’ve read our Adding Recipients article. You can only send the currency that was selected when adding the Recipient. For example, if you’re paying a UK vendor in Pounds (GBP), you must select GBP as the currency when adding them as a recipient. To send a payment to a saved recipient, click Pay in the upper right corner of the Dashboard.Next, select the recipient you’d like to pay and the payment method. If you’d the payment to be sent as soon as possible, you can proceed to the the amount. If instead you’d like to schedule the payment for a future date and/or take advantage of Exchange Rate Averaging, check the box for Schedule on a future date. If you’d like to make the payment recurring, slide the toggle. You’ll then be prompted to select the cadence.Once you’ve chose the payment type, you’ll next need to confirm the amount. If you’re exchanging currency, i.e. paying from USD to EUR, you will see the live exchange rate. You can enter either how much you want to send, i.e. $100, or how much you want the recipient to receive, €100. Next, enter the Reason or Purpose code, and if relevant, the Payment Reference. If sending via SWIFT or FedWire, the Payment Reference will be shared with the recipient and receiving bank. If sending via local payment rails, it likely will not be shared. When done, review the transaction details on the left side. If everything is correct, click Confirm.Payments and exchanges take some time to process. Once complete, you’ll receive an email notification. You can also check on the status in the Transactions tab (under Bookkeeping) of your Dashboard.
